Let us learn how to cook vegetable biryani, which is an easy to cook rice dish.

2 cup rice
2 medium size carrots (cut into small pieces)
8 – 10 beans (cut into small pieces)
1 medium size potato (cut into small pieces)
¼ cup peas
1 Medium size Onion (chopped)
2 green chilly (chopped)
10 – 12 Mint leaves
2 small pieces of cardamom
Coriander leave to garnish
2 tsp biryani masala
4 tblsp refined sunflower oil
Salt to taste
Take a bowl add cooking oil in it and wait till the oil gets heated, add onion and stir till the onions turn brownish now add cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, green chilies. Wait till it fries; now add carrot, peas, potato, beans and stir for 3 – 5 minutes on medium flame. Now add 4 cups of water and add salt, close the lid and wait till the water boils. Now add rice to it and close the lid in such a way that the steam should not come out. Cook on a low flame for about 10 – 15 min.
Your Vegetable Biryani is ready to serve. Garnish with few sprigs of coriander. You can serve vegetable biryani with dal or with any curry.
