Hello new Moms, does your kid hate to eat? No worries, even we would have done this same thing at this stage. So why do kids hate to eat and when this issue is almost there in every house why there is a solution?

It all depends on your kid’s mood and attraction to food. Kids do get hungry, but they can manage with milk and snacks. We are the one who get literally worried about their essentials (Proteins, Vitamins, Mineral, etc.). From my study and experience I have found that most kids hate food for the following reasons:

  • Boring regular food
  • Not much colorful, as their chocolates
  • Its play time, no mood to eat
  • Doesn’t like solid foods
  • Pathetic taste, without the sweetness
  • Stickiness (what we call as gravy!)


Don’t give them the regular stuffs just by putting it in a cycle. Make it colorful, which we can do wonders but little efforts needed though. Give your dish a shape or provide it in a different way (e.g. Hate rotis, make rotis as rolls and stuff it). Make the food easier so they can have it even when they play. Add some sweetness, kids hate that pale taste. Gravies, my son goes to sleep immediately! Kids prefer to keep their fingers and hands clean atleast while eating, so they expect neat pieces without any stickiness (e.g. biscuits).
Enough with the lessons let’s get into a simple and healthy dish which your kid might love, but not for a long time (if you make it regular).

Oil: 2 Tsp
Fennel Seeds:  1 Tsp
Curry leaves: 2 strips
Onion: 1(medium size)
Chopped Green chilies: 4 Nos
Coriander Powder: 2 Tsp
Chopped Ginger: 1 Tsp
Chopped Ginger: 1 Tsp
Black Pepper Powder:  1 Tsp
Coriander leaves:  1 Strip
Paneer Cubes:  200 Gms
Salt to taste

Preparation (10 Minutes):
Let’s prepare the Paneer Roast, its quick and easy recipe.
Heat Oil in pan and add the Paneer cubes and sauté it until it turns golden brown. Keep it aside in a plate.
Now heat the oil in a pan and add the Fennel seeds and Cury Leaf sauté it well.
Add the Chopped Onion, Ginger, Garlic and Green Chilli and sauté it well.
Now add the Paneer Cubes and mix it well.
Add the Salt, Pepper powder and  Coriander powder and mix and saute it well.
Garnish with Coriander leaves.
Prepare a Chapathi / Roti and stuff the Paneer cubes and Roll it.

Your kids will enjoy having it.
